Hello! I’m Jay, co-founder and creator of Avalon Health and Fitness. My passion for health, wellness and adventure began in my younger years through playing elite level football in England and I embarked on my own transformative journey to improve my fitness, eat better, and develop an immensely positive and fearless mindset through competitive sports.
After experiencing firsthand the power of a healthy lifestyle and how great you can feel with a bit of discipline, I became dedicated to helping others discover their own paths to wellness and achieve their full potential and thus began my career as a physiotherapist in 2010. I moved to Australia in 2013 and have practiced for 10 years in in private practice with a particular passion for injury prevention work in training and sports practices. I am committed to achieving our mission statement at Avalon!
I’m a qualified and practicing Physiotherapist in both the UK and Australia, I use a wealth of private practice experience to empower others to take control of their health and fitness. With a BSc (Honors) in Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool, England, I am committed to providing accurate, evidence-based information and practical health and fitness advice to all readers. I also hold a strength and conditioning qualification and both a Diploma of Business and an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.
Hello! I’m Liam, co-founder and creator of Avalon Health and Fitness. My passion for health, fitness and wellness began when I was very young. I competed at national level in UK cross county and athletics for many years, and have had a strong passion for football since I was young playing at competitive levels in both England and Australia.
After experiencing firsthand the power of a healthy lifestyle and how it has helped shape my own life, I became dedicated to helping others discover their own paths to wellness and achieve their full potential and so I embarked on the Journey to become a physiotherapist. I am committed to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, stay injury free and live a healthier, better lifestyle!
